International Expansion and Export
Active VAT registrations in 11 EU countries, plus the US and Canada. Market-by-market expansion, in a structured way. No improvisation.

Expansion strategy
Growing beyond your home market takes more than improvisation
Opening a new market means much more than adding another account. It means tax registration (VAT, IOSS, OSS, EORI), catalog translation and localization, country-specific labeling and compliance, and logistics tuned to local customer expectations.
Our model covers all of this end to end: from choosing the target country to tax setup, from professional translation to local advertising strategy, all the way to after-sales support in the customer’s language.
What we solve
The three typical barriers to selling abroad online
Fragmented tax compliance
OSS, IOSS, country-by-country VAT returns, registration thresholds, EPR for packaging, batteries and textiles. Every market has its own rules, and they change every year.
Opaque international logistics
Non-negotiated carrier rates, DIY customs handling for non-EU orders, delivery times that hurt marketplace ratings.
Machine localization
Auto-translated listings that lose keywords, A+ Content transposed without cultural adaptation, customer care answering German customers in English. Ratings drop within weeks.
Where we open

We work directly with local partner accountants to handle every tax matter independently.

03
Launch
Localized listings, advertising, logistics up and running, customer care in the local language. Coordinated go-live in the first target market.
04
Scale-up
Gradual rollout to the other countries on the roadmap, cross-country optimization, ongoing operations management.
FAQ
International expansion FAQs
Can I sell in Germany without a German company?
Yes. We operate with our own German tax registration (German VAT number) and handle periodic filings, packaging EPR (LUCID) and VerpackG requirements, where applicable, on your behalf. There’s no need to set up a GmbH.
How does selling on Amazon US from Italy work?
Two options: FBA US with local stock (faster, higher FBA fees) or cross-border FBM from our Perugia hub (lower costs, delivery in 5-7 days). We choose together based on unit price and expected sell-through.
How much does it cost to launch in a new country?
Setting up an EU VAT registration typically ranges from a few hundred to a few thousand euros, with recurring costs for VAT and EPR filings. The bulk of the investment goes into advertising and content localization, sized to the country’s potential.
Which industries are best suited to marketplace export?
Home, outdoor, premium food, design, spare parts and accessories, health and wellness: in general, products with a healthy unit margin, reasonable weight and low geographic seasonality. Industries with local certification requirements need a dedicated assessment.
How many countries should we start with?
Almost always one or two, never eight at once. The first market is where listings, advertising and operations get fine-tuned; real scaling starts from the third country onward, once processes are proven.
Which market do you want to open?
Let’s review your catalog and target country together. A realistic estimate of timelines, costs and sales potential.
