Cookie Notice

Last updated: October 20, 2026

This Cookie Notice explains how this website uses cookies and similar technologies, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR), Article 122 of the Italian Personal Data Protection Code (Legislative Decree 196/2003) and the Guidelines on cookies and other tracking tools issued by the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali) on June 10, 2021. For the processing of other personal data, please see our Privacy Notice.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that the websites you visit send to your device, where they are stored and then sent back to the same websites on your next visit. Similar technologies (such as the browser’s local storage or scripts that detect device characteristics) serve comparable purposes. Among other things, they allow the website to work properly, remember your preferences, keep forms secure and collect statistical information.

2. Types of cookies we use

  • Technical and necessary cookies — essential for the website to work, to remember your chosen language and cookie preferences, and to protect forms from spam and abuse. They do not require your consent;
  • Statistics (analytics) cookies — used to understand, in aggregate form, how the website is used (pages visited, traffic sources, devices). They are set only with your consent, given through the banner under the “Statistics” category.

This website does not use profiling or marketing cookies: the “Marketing” category shown in the banner remains inactive.

3. First-party technical cookies

  • Cookie preferences (Complianz): cmplz_* cookies (for example cmplz_banner-status, cmplz_consented_services, cmplz_policy_id and one for each banner category) — they store the choices you made in the banner, so that it is not shown again on every visit. Duration: 365 days;
  • Language (Polylang): pll_language — remembers the website language you chose (Italian or English). Duration: 1 year;
  • Restricted area (WordPress): session and authentication cookies (wordpress_*, wp-settings-*) set only for website administrators who log in; they do not concern visitors.

4. Third-party services

This website uses the following third-party services, which may set cookies or use similar technologies:

  • Cloudflare Turnstile (Cloudflare, Inc.) — protects the contact and quote request forms from spam and abuse. To verify that a request comes from a person, the service processes technical data about the browser and device (for example IP address and browser characteristics); it is not used for advertising or profiling purposes. It is a technical tool necessary for the security of the website, based on the data controller’s legitimate interest, and does not require consent. Privacy information: Cloudflare Turnstile Privacy Addendum;
  • Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Ltd) — aggregate browsing statistics. It is loaded only after you consent to the “Statistics” category in the banner; without consent, no Google Analytics cookie is set. Cookies: _ga and _ga_<ID> (they distinguish visitors and sessions), duration up to 2 years. Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses. Privacy information: Google Privacy Policy; you can also install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Some of these providers may also process data outside the European Economic Area, with the safeguards described in section 9 of the Privacy Notice (standard contractual clauses and, where applicable, the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework).

The links to our social media profiles on this website (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram) are simple links: they do not set any cookies unless you open them.

5. How to manage or withdraw your consent

On your first visit, the banner lets you accept, refuse (“Deny”) or choose by category the non-necessary cookies; if you refuse, only technical cookies remain active. You can change or withdraw your choices at any time using the “Manage consent” tab at the bottom right of every page. Consent is requested again after 365 days.

You can also set your browser to block or delete cookies; however, disabling technical cookies may affect some features of the website. Instructions are available on the support pages of the main browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge).
